Tipp Chamber Awards Businesses and Citizens at Annual Gala
Troy, OH (December 5, 2012) – The Tipp City Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual Holiday Gala & Auction on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at The Crystal Room with just over 200 in attendance. This is the Chamber’s largest fundraiser of the year providing an opportunity to highlight member businesses and honor award recipients.
For many years, the Chamber has presented the top community business and citizen honors at the Holiday Gala. This year, we are pleased to honor four award recipients that represent excellence in community and business for the Tipp City area. Congratulations to these honorees:
Young Professional of the Year, Katie Wahl
Citizen of the Year, Ruth Safreed
Small Business of the Year, Curves of Tipp City – Brenda Clawson-Flannagan
Business of the Year, Voss Honda – Dick Lange
Additionally, State Representative Richard Adams presented Citizen of the Year recipient, Ruth Safreed, with a commendation for her active participation in the Tipp City community.
New this year, the Tipp City Chamber recognized member businesses that celebrated a milestone anniversary in 2012. Congratulations to these area businesses that have been in business for many years:
10 years – Kettering Sports Medicine Center and Proforma Vision Marketing
20 years – Duncan Tool, Inc., SpringMeade Health Center and SpringMeade Residence
25 years – City to City Courier, Inc., Gall & Gall Company Inc., Harmony Farm, Precision Strip and Vital Connections, Inc.
30 years – Galbreath Realtors
35 years – J&L Wood Products, Inc.
45 years – Amity Mold Company
60 years – Riverside of Miami County
90 years – Saunders Seed
95 years – American Red Cross
“We are honored to be recognized by the Chamber for reaching the milestone of being in business for 25 years,” stated Liz Keyser, Vice President, Harmony Farm. “Being a part of and supporting this community, while doing what we love, is a joy!”
Along with the award presentations, there were 15 beautifully decorated and displayed Christmas trees on site for the silent auction that were created by Chamber member businesses.
