The ‘Community Night’ Summer Concert Series kicks off it’s 23rd Season in Downtown Tipp City on Friday, June 6th. The concert will be held on N. Second at Main. The evening of free music will begin at 6:15pm with the return of local favorite the ‘McCrazies’ and, new to the Community Night stage, the Warehouse Sound Project at 7:30pm.

The McCrazies started at Tippecanoe High School with a few teachers and students jamming for certain school events. The band has now grown and branched out to take their show to various venues in the Dayton area. The McCrazies mainly play covers that include rock, pop, and blues.

Warehouse Sound Project started back in 1994 as a rotating group of musicians who loved to play blues and classic rock and anything else that gets people up dancing. The band has been steadily playing the Greater Dayton area and Lake St. Mary’s area since their inception. The band is made up of two guitarists, Kevin Serey (a 1995 Tipp City graduate) and Eddie Vest, on harmonica is Pat Whitt, playing bass is Dan Gabriel, and on drums Allen Gentry. Alternating and harmonizing vocals round out this exciting and popular band.

Community Night is a hometown tradition and is held the first Friday of the month June through September. So bring a lawn chair and join with friends and community for a little fun, relaxation, and dancing. In case of bad weather the concert will be cancelled. For more information call 937-667-3696.
