Tipp City – The Beagle for Congress campaign (R-Tipp City) announced today that business owners in Darke and Mercer Counties have joined an already strong coalition of business leaders from across Ohio’s 8th Congressional District in supporting Republican Bill Beagle for Congress. This announcement comes on the heels of a compelling list of endorsements from elected officials, Republican Party leaders and business owners from Miami County last week.
Spearheading the Bill Beagle’s Business Leaders team in Darke and Mercer County are:
Ann Staugler, Vice President of Big K Mills
Aaron and Betsy Ward, Owners of A&B Coffee and Cake Co
Jim Poeppelman, Owner of C.F. Poeppelman, Inc
Brent Phelan, President and CEO of Phelan Insurance Agency, Inc.
“When Ohio’s economy was struggling, Bill Beagle rolled up his sleeves and put his real-world private sector experience to work for small businesses like ours in Western Ohio and across the state,” said Aaron Ward, Owner of A&B Coffee and Cake Co. “America needs leaders like Bill in Congress who don’t just talk about cutting taxes and regulations, but who have the record and know-how to get the job done.”
“Bill Beagle’s leadership on issues that impact family businesses and the agriculture community is unparalleled in this campaign and is exactly what we need in Washington,” said Ann Staugler, Vice President of Big K Mills. “I am proudly supporting Bill Beagle for Congress because I know that he has the skill set needed to help our local economy thrive.”
“I am so grateful for the support of my fellow business owners and am proud that our coalition of private sector partners continues to grow stronger each and every day,” said Bill Beagle.
Bill Beagle worked for over 20 years in the private sector as a senior financial analyst, an operations manager and in customer service. An entrepreneur, Bill started his own real-estate business in 2002 – a business he continues to successfully grow today. In the Ohio Senate, Bill Beagle has been a leader in establishing a more business-friendly environment for employers and job seekers in the Buckeye State. As Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Workforce Development, he has stood for peeling back excessive regulations that hurt our economy and hold back entrepreneurs while working to raise up a new generation of American workers that are prepared to compete in the global marketplace.
