Try something fun and different. Sign-up now to compete in The Amazing Race in Tipp City, presented by Tipp City Public Library. Organizers explain that it’s a “different kind of scavenger treasure-hunt-race”. Teams can be comprised of two adults or one parent with one child or teen, age 8 and up. The race is set for Saturday, Aug. 14, but you must pre-register to receive a starting time. Starting times are from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Deadline to pre-register is Wednesday, Aug. 11. No experience needed. Finish the race with the best time, and win a prize. PINOCHLE NIGHT Come play Pinochle at the library at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 11. Once you learn it, you’ll want to play it again and again. All skill levels are welcome. Come at 6:30 p.m. if you would like a refresher on how to play. READING CLUB PACKETS AVAILABLE
