Tipp City Public Library continues to add programs and services for children. Just this week the library added access to TumbleBooks, and its vast online library.
From the library’s website at http://www.tippcitylibrary.org, you can pick up the new TumbleBooks link. There you will find an online collection of books for youth, beginning with animated, talking picture books. But that’s just the beginning.
Under the categories of story books, Tumble Readables, new books, puzzles and games, language learning, and audio books, you can view picture books, story books, books for older students and some of the classics your teens will read in high school. And, if your child isn’t in the mood for a book, TumbleBooks has a great collection of puzzles and games to choose from.
Make it a point to visit TumbleBooks with your kids soon, and enjoy.

TAX FORMS MADE EASY

The library is trying to help take the stress out of the tax return filing season. Through April 15, you can find handy links to local, state and federal tax forms, all on the library’s homepage. Of course, you can go the low-tech route and visit the library at 11 E. Main St. where there’s a display table filled with most state and federal forms and publications.
And remember, the library hosts the AARP Tax-Aide program every Monday and Wednesday. AARP trained volunteers will help you complete your tax returns on Mondays, from 4 to 8 p.m., and Wednesdays, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tax-Aide help on Mondays is by appointment only. To make an appointment, call 845-3014.
