Tipp City, Ohio wins the America in Bloom (AIB) 10,000-15,000 population category award!
The competition was judged more than two months ago, and the Tipp City AIB committee has just received notice that their months of work with a number of local businesses and organizations have paid off! Tipp City shares the local recognition nationally with only one other city, Ironton, Ohio who also scored a top ranking. The national contest is held annually and judges communities in the same population category on their floral displays, environmental awareness, tidiness, heritage preservation, community involvement, urban forestry, landscapes and turf and ground covers. This was Tipp City’s 5th attempt to achieve the prestigious designation.
Tipp City’s AIB board member, Dave Wertz shared, “This America in Bloom recognition is an award to the entire community and reflects the quality of life we have here in Tipp City.”
