Upward Youth Basketball and Cheer Recruiting 2010 Coaches

The Tipp City United Methodist Church in downtown Tipp City currently has 310 children registered to participate in Upward this 2010 season, we have almost 40 basketball teams, and 9 cheer squads, and only a total of 63 coaches, that includes basketball, and cheer, head, assistant, and junior assistant coaches.

We are looking for coaches to teach children the fundamentals of basketball, at one practice a week for 12 weeks, from the week of January 4th-March 21st weekend. and one hour games being played Saturdays for 8 weeks from Jan, 23rd-Mar. 13th. This is a great opportunity to fulfill community service for high school students, or just a way to get involved in the community here in Tipp City. We are also looking for volunteers for Saturday game days to help run sound, scoreboards, do some player introductions, help with player organization, and to referee games.
