Tipp City – The Beagle for Congress campaign proudly announced that last evening conservative Republican Bill Beagle was overwhelmingly endorsed by the Miami County Republican Party to serve as the next Congressman from Ohio’s 8th Congressional District. In a crowded primary field of 15 Republican candidates, including five from Miami County, Bill Beagle brought home a resounding victory – garnering over 75% of the vote on the very first ballot.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Miami County Republican Party and am thankful for their continued confidence in me,” said Bill Beagle. “It was the strong support of my home county that helped me oust our Democrat incumbent State Senator back in 2010 and heading into the final days of this campaign, I know that with them solidly behind me again, we will win in March!”
Bill Beagle and his family have called Miami County home for over 25 years. Before being elected to the Ohio Senate in 2010, Bill Beagle served on Tipp City Council from 2003-2009. He and his wife, Karen, are both owners of small businesses located in Miami County and are active in numerous clubs and organizations.
