Tour the Haunted Garage…If you Dare
Everyone has skeletons in their closet but Keith Allen and Charlene Werts opens up theirs’ to the public, at least during every October. It’s not only skeletons they expose but all types of other monsters to put some fright in the step of all who pass by. For the eighth consecutive year they will host the Haunted Garage at their home, which is located at 7373 Bard Road. Through all of October it will be open every Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 pm and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Beggars/Halloween night.

For Allen, Halloween has always been his favorite holiday and the items on display has taken a lifetime to collect, with new additions always being made; such as a life size Jason from Friday the 13th for this year.

Many of the items are limited edition collector’s items; such as the Phantom of the Opera which was released by Universal Studios.

Amongst all the mayhem is Allen himself who wears a mask in a challenge for the visitors to find him. While he used to only dress up for Beggars night, the public began to demand more. “Now people expect me to be in a costume and are disappointed if I’m not,” he said.
