Tipp City, Ohio, has a Social Scene, so I'm There

From the Fort Myers News-Press newspaper:

One of the Downtown Diva’s favorite sayings is, “Divas don’t take days off.” In the almost 10 years since I’ve been penning this missive, even when I go on vacation, I cover the social swirl from wherever I am – over the years, I’ve included such sparkling places as Las Vegas, New York City and South Beach; as well as areas with slower paces like Cordele, Ga., or the Florida Keys.

Last week, I found myself in my hometown of tiny Tipp City, Ohio – also known as Tippecanoe – a quaint little ‘burg with a population of around 9,000 – think lots of antique stores, a few charming cafes, and a hub with a handful of fast food chains near the I-75 exit ramp. When it comes to exciting nightlife, most folks head around 20 miles south to Dayton, but that’s just fine with everyone here – Tipp is for families, church and school activities, and enjoying your neighbors – doors are rarely locked and American flags decorate porches all year ’round.
