The Tipp City Rotary Club held a joint meeting with the West Milton Rotary Club on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012, at the Monroe Township Building. This meeting was held in conjunction with the upcoming Tippecanoe/Milton-Union boys basketball games on Saturday, December 8th. John Skolnicki, Program Chairperson, introduced Rusty Berner, the Milton-Union Varsity Coach and Matt Shomper, the Tippecanoe Athletic Director standing in for Marcus Bixler, the Tippecanoe Varsity Coach. Berner & Shomper both gave presentations on their respective varsity teams, and fielded numerous questions from the audience. This was the 8th annual joint meeting of the Tipp City and West Milton Rotary Clubs. Over 75 Rotarians attended the meeting from both West Milton and Tipp City. After the varsity game on Saturday night, the two Rotary Clubs will be presenting plaques to the MVP’s of each team and serving pizza & pop to all the players, coaches, & cheerleaders. Pictured left to right are John Skolnicki, Matt Shomper, Rusty Berner, and Allen Smith (West Milton Rotary Club).
