City Manager Jon Crusey spoke about the new Abbott Liquid Nutrition Manufacturing Facility at the March 28th, 2012 Tipp City Rotary Club meeting. Jon discussed the selection process for when Abbott started with 127 sites, to the site tour, presentations to Abbott, and the final process when Tipp City was selected as the location for this new facility. Abbott will be investing $270M and employing 240 persons in Tipp City at their new facility located just south of the Meijer Distribution Facility. Abbott has a very aggressive construction and FDA approval schedules for this new facility. Jon then answered numerous questions from the Rotarians. Abbott leadership team members will be at the Tipp City Government Center on Monday April 2nd from 6:30 to 7:30 with displays and time to talk with the public.
