At the July 11, 2012 meeting of the Tipp City Rotary Club, Dr. John Kronour, Superintendent of Tipp City Schools was introduced by Phil Wampler. Dr. Kronour presented to the Rotarians a Power Point presentation explaining the upcoming levy that is on the August 7th ballot. He told the group the State has cut $1.3 million from Tipp City Schools’ funding from the 2011/2012 school year and the State will be cutting more in the upcoming school year.

Dr. Kronour said the District has put together a three-fold plan; make more cuts, deliver services more efficiently and implement other cost-recovery initiatives, plus go back to the public for more funds. Dr. Kronour highlighted the additional cuts that will happen if the levy does not pass in August and directed everyone to the school website for more in-depth information.
