Tipp City Rotary Donates $1,000 for Trees in Kyle Park

Pictured left to right are City Manager Jon Crusey, 2010-2011 Tipp City Rotary President Mark Mabelitini, and Mayor Dee Gillis.

The Tipp City Rotary Club continued its seven year tradition of donating $1,000 per year to the City of Tipp City for tree plantings in Kyle Park.  This year the five Sycamore trees will be planted along the bikeway from Kyle Park to East Main Street.  Each of the five trees honors a past President from the Tipp City Rotary Club.  The past President’s honored this year were: Thomas B. Kyle, Jr. (1968-1969), Alva M. Parsons (1969-1970), Russell T. Flora, Jr. (1970-1971), Dr. John Lorms (1971-1972), and James H. Kyle (1972-1973).  The Tipp City Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at noon in the basement of the Monroe Township Building at the southeast corner of Main and Third Streets.
