Tipp City Rotary Meeting 3.12.12

The winners of the Tipp City Rotary Club’s Four Way Speech Contest gave their speeches at the March 21st, 2012 Tipp City Rotary Meeting.  Each THS student gave a 4-6 minute speech on the topic of their choice relating it to the Rotary Four Way Test, “is it the TRUTH, is it FAIR to all concerned, will it build GOODWILL, and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS, will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?”  Audrey Butler, Katelin Dynes, Jessica Kemen, Alexa Lammers, and Nick Sheriff participated on March 7th when a panel of Rotarians judged the speeches and determined that Alexa Lammers speech about Young Neighbors In Action was best, Katelin Dynes speech about World Hunger placed second, and Nick Sheriff’s speech about Prejudice placed third.  Alexa will be competing at Wittenberg University in the District 6670 Speech competition representing the Tipp City Rotary Club.  Pictured left to right are THS teacher Erin Hill, Nick Sheriff, Alexa Lammers, Past Tipp City Rotary President Doug Thompson, and Katelin Dynes,.
