Tipp City Welcomes New Anchor Store

TIPP CITY, Ohio (March 21, 2011) – A new store will be holding its Grand Opening in downtown Tipp City on Saturday, April 2, 2011.  Hapinstance Designs, located at 32 East Main Street, has taken over the space formerly occupied by Down A Country Lane & Cognac Home Furnishings.

The store will focus on a variety of merchandise including furniture, home décor, a baby boutique, Ohio’s own Root Candles, art, jewelry, and many other hand-crafted specialty items.  The store owners, Suzan Fox, Jetta James, and Marilyn Richards, are eager to bring trendy, fresh and exciting new products into downtown Tipp City.

The historical building is one of the largest spaces in the downtown area. It also houses a local barber shop, Past Perfect Vintage Home and Garden, 2nd Street Eatery, Kelley’s Tipps 2 Toes, and an Opera House on the 2nd floor dating back to the 1860s.

“Downtown Tipp City is really blooming this spring. We are not only excited by the opening of Hapinstance Designs, but we are also expecting a new bakery, soap making shop and a variety retailer to open their doors in the coming months as well,” says Matt Owen, Downtown Tipp City Partnership Executive Director. “We are really making strides in bringing great shopping to the downtown area.”
