3 Arrests Made, Charges to be Filed in Downtown Tagging Investigation

Wednesday evening, Tipp City Police made three arrests in the downtown tagging investigation.

The three accused include one 17 year old and two 19 year olds. There is a fourth subject that has been identified but is not in custody.

During the early morning hours this past Saturday, the three vandals sprayed more than 26 grafitti “tags” on historic downtown homes and business locations. The words “Zeek” and “No’K” appeared on many of the buildings along with swastikas and obscenities.

Using good old police work, Tipp City patrolmen along with Sargeant Detective Chris Graham followed up on numerous leads from the high school, students and residents as well as poured over hours of security videos.

Charges are expected to be filed in the AM for all 4 suspects.
