Book: A Small Indiscretion
Author: Jan Ellison

This is Jan Elison’s first novel and a delightful read. Annie Black, a successful married mother of three who lives in San Francisco, recounts her late teenage years that leads to her current predicament. The story jumps between now and then and describes her experiences with love, excessive drinking, and time spent in London, Paris, and Ireland. The author writes about her characters with such clarity that the reader feels like they are watching the story unfold from the sidelines.
Anyone who has mothered a teenage son will find this story to be magnetic. It is suspenseful but warm.
One review summarizes this book as “Are those wild college days ever really behind you?”

I have added this author to my “favorites” list and will patiently await her next publication.
