Angel Cook lost her battle with cancer on 6/24/2012. Angel was mom, wife, nurse, and Scentsy sister. She was diagnosed with stomach cancer earlier this year. She’s fought her battle with cancer as hard as she could. And, she’s given it a good run for it’s money. They was notified that her white cell count is too low to fight the battle any longer. Chemo treatments had to be terminated, she’s was moved to a hospice facility, and the doctor’s said it wouldn’t be much longer before she leaves the material world behind. Angel husband has been off work in order to care for her, and Angel left behind her 3 children. We’re trying to help them raise just a little money to make thing easier as they transition into their new lives without her. What is a Charity Token Raffle?
It is a charitable event used to raise funds for our favorite charities. Our vendors donate products to the charity for a Chinese raffle. This is not a moneymaking event of any kind for our vendors. It helps raise funds for our charity, move excess product we have, and meet new and potential customers for our businesses!
How does it work?? The “caller” shows the item, gives you a brief description then they say ok, bids in…and they pass a bucket down your table, if you want to bid, you throw your token(s) in the bucket. If you put a token in the bucket, you hold your paddle up. There are tokens in a big bucket by the caller with all the paddle numbers in it she’ll reach in and pull out a number. If you’re holding a paddle up with that number on it…YOU WIN THE ITEM!! That means you might win something REALLY nice for a dollar or LESS!! You will be impressed with the quality of auction items.
