At the Mum Festival, artist/photographer, Parker Fritz, set up two canvases. Fritz invited anyone who wanted to pick up a brush to paint a small portion of the canvas. The theme of the paintings, for obvious reasons, Mums. Many people at the festival took part in the fun, but there is still plenty to paint.
Each painting will be raffled off at the ARTStravaganza at Harrison’s on October 22nd. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $1.00 through the Tipp City Area Arts Council.
If you would like to come out and put your mark on the community paintings, they will be available at the Tippecanoe Farmer’s Market every Saturday until October 17th or until they are finished, whichever comes first.
