Bill Beagle Receives Slew of Endorsements

Bill Speaks to Miami County
With the primary less than 4 weeks away (May 4th), local individuals and organizations are standing up to provide their candidate endorsements.

Bill Beagle, a Tipp Citian who is running for Ohio’s 5th District State Senate seat in November is challenged in the primary by Joe Lemaster of Arcanum for the Republican nomination. Bill has recently been given the nod by the Miami County GOP, Montgomery County GOP and most recently by the Dayton Daily News. Retired Lieutenant Colonel (USAF) Mike Jackson also weighed in on our local candidate:

Bill Beagle exemplifies the qualities we would hope to see in all of our elected officials. He has worked diligently in community activities such as the Tipp City Library Board, and as an elected local official. As a member of the Tipp City Council, Beagle assisted the citizens’ movement to create a lasting memorial to veterans in a prominent location. He focuses on solutions, while remaining in close contact with the people. Beagle is particularly concerned with our economy and resolving issues in funding for education, and he will work tirelessly to find solutions that will benefit all Ohioans. He is a hardworking man of integrity who has earned a place in our state legislature. He would represent the citizens in his district well. I urge you to join me in voting for him.

And in the Dayton Daily News Opinion section today, political columnist Martin Gottlieb stated that Beagle, “is the clearly superior choice” and “grounded on earth, experienced and articulate — (Beagle) is the right choice.”

Today when asked about the glowing endorsement from Dayton Daily News, Beagle replied “The Board certainly captured the differences between myself and my opponent”, and continued “I am honored to have the endorsement of the Dayton Daily News as well as the Montgomery and Miami County GOP (Darke County does not endorse candidates) and I ask for their continued support going into the General Election, where once again the differences between candidates could not be more distinct.”
