The newly formed Tipp City Area Arts Council (TCAAC) has been busy planning fun and exciting programs and projects for the Tipp City area. There are several upcoming events that the public will be interested in knowing about.

On October 22nd, Harrison’s & TCAAC will be having a fund raiser for the arts council. Harrison’s will be donating a portion of the dinner proceeds to the arts council. The ARTStravaganza will be a showcase of entertainment from music to magic. Harrison’s has also offered to give up their wall space for the evening & allow artists to display their artwork. Entertainment will run from 5 PM to 8 PM. Harrison’s and TCAAC invite you to come out, enjoy a nice dinner and support the arts in Tipp City.

Starting immediately, TCAAC is sponsoring a Short Story Contest. Everyone from grade 4 and above is invited to participate. There are 4 age categories & each category has a grand prize of a $100 savings bond. If you have a story and like to put pen to paper, this is a great opportunity for some fun recognition. Stories must be submitted by October 21st.

If you would like to become a charter member of the Tipp City Area Arts Council, there are only a few months left in the year. Individual memberships are $15 and a family membership is $25.
