Following the traditional delicious dinner buffet a smorgasbord of classic country songs is served up as La Comedia presents, ‘Bubba’s Revenge: The Honky Tonk Angels’ Final Chapter.’ Both provide a fulfilling dose of healthy goodness that makes you want to keep going back for more.
The plot, which is mostly just a side dish to the main course of country music hits, centers around a tribute concert for, Darlene Purvis, put on by the remaining members of her trio, The Honky Tonk Angels. The concert is attended by Darlene’s ghost, which can only be seen by Bubba, and the desire for everyone else to be able to reconnect with her leads to a dire set of circumstances.
