Tipp City Welcomes Phil Nagle Home!
Phil Nagle will be returning from his bicycle trek through all 48 states in the continental U.S. this Monday, September 14th 2009 to the CVS parking lot in Tipp City, Ohio
Phil's courageous journey has consisted of of nearly 8,000 miles of riding in various climate and traffic conditions while facing frequent elevation changes. He races in honor and remembrance of his late uncle who died from acute Leukemia (cancer). Phil also hopes to raise $48,000 in funds from this ride that support research for a cure. He will be returning to our home town of Tipp City, Ohio tomorrow, Monday September 14th at 6PM in the CVS parking lot.
Bringing the Arts to Tipp City
On October 22nd, Harrison’s & TCAAC will be having a fund raiser for the arts council. Harrison’s will be donating a portion of the dinner proceeds to the arts council. The ARTStravaganza will be a showcase of entertainment from music to magic. Harrison’s has also offered to give up their wall space for the evening & allow artists to display their artwork. Entertainment will run from 5 PM to 8 PM. Harrison’s and TCAAC invite you to come out, enjoy a nice dinner and support the arts in Tipp City.
HarvestFest Halloween History
The Third Annual HarvestFest in historic Downtown Tipp City will be Saturday, October 31 (the Day itself!) from 7-11 PM, rain or shine. Beer and soft drinks will be served. You must be 21 WITH PROPER ID to pick your poison. Beer, and soft drinks will be available, as will commemorative posters and other items. Come in costume to save $2 off admission and compete in our costume contests! The Tippecanoe HarvestFest is presented by the Downtown Tipp City Partnership.
