TIPP CITY – The Tipp City Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Executive Director, Liz Sonnanstine, has received a scholarship to the upcoming ACCE, American Chamber of Commerce Executives, annual national conference. The ACCE will mark 100 years of service to chamber leaders at the 2014 convention in Cincinnati – the city where ACCE was founded. The conference will be held August 12 – 15, 2014.
The scholarship opportunity, presented by CCEO – Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio, included an application review process from chamber executives located all over Ohio. Only one candidate was selected for the award. The value of the scholarship is over $750 for the 3 day event.
“This opportunity will allow our Director to meet with peers from around the nation, learn strategies to better our Chamber and bring ideas back to our local businesses,” says Kristen Bayliff, Tipp City Chamber Board Chair.
Sonnanstine has served as the Tipp City Chamber of Commerce director for 2.5 years.
