CHOOSE THE RIGHT PRESCHOOL – ENROLL NOW FOR FALL

The right preschool experience can give your child the head start they need to be academically and socially ready for kindergarten. This happens by laying a foundation of social skills, knowledge and self-confidence that paves the way for future success.

The classrooms at Kids Learning Place provide that “RIGHT” early childhood experiences that includes:

  • teachers with degrees in every classroom
  • a research-based online curriculum developed to build early learning skills
  • bus transportation in most areas
  • accepting children with special needs
  • individualized services for children and families
  • developmental testing throughout the year with online access for parents
  • valuing and encouraging parent participation
  • centers in Miami County have earned the “Step Up to Quality” award that recognizes early childhood programs that exceed licensing standards

You may choose the Head Start part day federally funded program; to be included a child must be between three to five years old and the family must meet federal income guidelines.  The program also provides services to children of families that are homeless and children with disabilities are considered without income restrictions.  Services can be either center (Piqua, Troy, Pleasant Hill and West Milton) or home based.

Kids Learning Place also offers private full day child care for all children birth through 5 years and wraparound care for older children before and after school in some areas.  The emphasis is for the children to be included in a safe and nurturing environment with abundant literacy, culture, and social experiences

Be sure your child gains the knowledge to succeed in school!   For more information or to enroll in the early childhood education programs call our toll free number 1-866-627-4557 for immediate contact; also check the Web site at   www.councilonruralservices.org .

Council on Rural Services provides education, support, and volunteer services through Kids Learning Place™, Head Start, Early Head Start, Gateway Youth Programs, and HandsOn West Central Ohio in their nine county service area.

During Week of the Young Child the children at the Troy building learned about ecology and keeping our environments safe. During the month the children collected and sorted items for recycling.
