Christmas: The Season of Magic and Giving

Christmas Season at Worley Road Santa’s Workshop is full of magic and giving.

Greg, Stephanie, Logan, Jade, Devin, and Dalton Smith genuinely love the magic of Christmas.  Their property, located at 5486 Worley Road in Tipp City, represents what the season means to them. “a time to celebrate the most joyous time of the year while providing kids, adults, and families an opportunity to share and experience in the magical season we call ‘Christmas.’

What adult who ever watched the movie Christmas Vacation wouldn’t want to replicate what Clark Griswold wanted to provide to his family and neighbors?  Well, this is what the Smiths do for their family, friends, neighbors, and hundreds of visitors each year – and it continues to expand and grow!

Although the entire family enjoys the Christmas Season, the youngest sibling, Logan, always seems to take the season to the “next level.”  Around the age of 10, Logan seemed never satisfied with the family’s exterior decorations, wanting more Christmas lights.  That’s when blow-ups, random lights, and any other Christmas décor he could convince his parents to buy were added to the property.

The home is situated on 3 acres between Tipp City and West Milton – close to Homestead Golf Course.  It is a gorgeous log home with a pond in front of the house.  The Smiths decorate the entire property with Christmas Lights, blow-ups, a driveway LED archway, and many LED scenes along with Santa, Santa’s Sleigh, and his Reindeer.

New this year will be a “Gingerbread Village” that the younger kids can walk through and visit.

In addition, Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph, Elves, and even the Grinch find the time to meet and greet with the kids (and adults) on Saturday and Sunday evenings throughout December (see dates and times).  So, if you find yourself out and about this December and want to enjoy some Christmas Magic, the Smith family will once again be ready to share their love and passion for Christmas while spreading the Magic of Christmas with you, your family, and friends.

The most memorable part of Christmas for the Smith family is the ability to “give back” to the community, especially the kids.  Starting in 2020, Mrs. Smith had the idea of placing a “Santa’s Mailbox” at the end of the driveway to allow children to write their letters to Santa.  What the kids DON’T KNOW is that these letters are read, and Santa writes each child a personalized letter and creates a “Santa Package” delivered to their homes by Elves and Reindeer.

The lights will be turned on starting the night after Thanksgiving (Friday, November 25th) and remain on until Sunday, January 15th.

Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their helpers will be greeting visitors on the following weekend nights in December:

  • Saturdays (6 PM – 9 PM): 12/3, 12/10 and 12/17
  • Sundays (6 PM – 8 PM): 12/4 and 12/18
  • Address: 5486 Worley Road, Tipp City
  • NOTE – The LAST DAY for “Santa’s Mailbox” is Sunday, December 18th @ 9 PM.

The Worley Road Santa Workshop and Christmas Display is Free and has MANY elves that assist in this process, including friends, family, and neighbors of the Smith family.

Always remember to keep the magic of Christmas alive and do something nice for a stranger.

Merry Christmas,

The Smith Family
