With the March 2nd 68 -42 win over Eaton, Coach Matt Pond became the head coach with the most wins in Red Devil Basketball history.
During the exciting 2009 season, Coach Pond’s Red Devils defense held most teams to under 40 points of offense. He is fond of saying “they can’t beat you, if they can’t score” This powerful trust in his team joined with his sharp coaching skills has allowed Coach Pond to rack up an amazing 166 wins in just ten seasons surpassing Frank Goldsberry, who had 165. The Red Devils completed their 2009 season at 18-5.
