You may be thinking that December is sports month on the Get Social! Radio Show, and you may be correct!
On Episode Twenty three we interviewed Jim Dabbelt on girls high school basketball in the area. This weekend, Jim will be airing his own sports show on Sunday at 7PM here on Get Social Radio that covers all topics regarding ladies high school basketball in the Miami Valley. This week Mike and Greg will feature the Dayton Gems, our new local IHL hockey team! While we did not have any inklink of the ownership change in the team last week, we will hopefully get to scoop the rest of the local media with the Gem’s first public interview following the announcement that the team is under new ownership.
We hope to have the Coach and team captains here to chat with us. I am secretly also hoping to have one of the new team owners arrives so we can chat with him/her as well! As the temperatures decline, we hope to be reclining over at Hara Arena watching the Dayton Gem’s take the ice.
