Shook Construction and Kelchner Excavating will be closing Evanston Road, immediately east of Co. Rd. 25A on August 27th to install sanitary sewer to serve Fieldstone Assisted Living Center being constructed on the west side of Co. Rd. 25A, north of Evanston Road.
The City of Tipp City and the Miami County Engineer’s Office have coordinated the traffic maintenance plan that will permit the closure of Evanston Road, east of Co. Rd. 25A, beginning on August 27th and will remain closed thru September 28th, dependent on weather. Co. Rd. 25A will remain open at all times, though hand flagging will occur when construction is in the intersection.
Evanston Road west of Co. Rd. 25A will then be closed from September 28th thru October 5th. Co. Rd. 25A will have temporary traffic signals installed to permit one-lane traffic approximately September 26th and continuing thru October 19th. The road closure will be posted on Evanston Road at S. Hyatt Street and Curtwood Drive east of the construction and Peters Road west of the construction. We apologize for the inconvenience during this time and ask for your patience and understanding while construction is underway.
Please direct any questions about the road closure to Chris Josselyn at Shook Construction at 937-276-6666, Josh Murray at Kelchner Excavating at 937-704-9890, or to the City of Tipp City at 937-667-6305.
