Foxhead Books announces the book launch party for Mission Critical, a veteran’s tour of duty inside public education this Saturday May 3rd, 2014.
TIPP CITY, OHIO, April 28th, 2014— Award-winning educator and writer, Eric A. Combs will debut Mission Critical, a veteran’s tour of duty inside public education his biographical novel on April 3rd, 2014 at Studio 14 Gallery of Fine Art, Tipp City, OH for a book launch party scheduled from 3-5PM.
In Mission Critical, Combs solutions for a dangerously broken American public school system barely held together by hard-working teachers, parents and administrators. First as a Senior Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and then as a teacher and school administrator, Combs discovered that much of what he learned serving in the military translated into very real instructional methods and tactics within the classroom.
As an educator, Combs has been honored four times in Who’s Who among American Teachers and was also the recipient of the 2007 Smarter Kids Teaching Excellence Award as well as the 2006 Ohio Teacher of the Year award.
