Students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to participate in a digital photography course sponsored by Tipp City Area Arts Council in cooperation with Tipp-Monroe Community Services. Students will receive basic instruction in digital photography, discuss artful composition and techniques, learn to post art on an Internet share site, compare point-and-shoot cameras to single-lens reflex, and participate in remote critique of participants’ photographs.
Instructor will meet with students weekly for four sessions in June and will encourage students to “shoot and save” throughout the summer. Class will meet for one session in the fall (date TBD) to select photos to display in a special exhibit.
