Friday night at 10 p.m., there will be a party in Hogsmeade…uh, I mean at the Library downtown to celebrate the release of the last Harry Potter book, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” Mark Dumbledore told us that visitors and students on July 20th “could be among the lucky readers who win the right to borrow one of the library’s copies of the book, and take it home that night.” Other plans include door prizes, a sorting ceremony and classes straight out of Hogwart’s School of Magic. Also, enjoy the library’s version of Diagon Alley with imaginative games and other great Harry Potter stuff. Open to all ages – for more information, see the Library website, but watch out for those Dementors!
