Wind down your work week with a warm drink, good food and great music at the Kanoe Cafe on Saturday night. This weekend the Kanoe Cafe hosts local musical talent Sweet Betsy.

Formed in August 2007, Sweet Betsy featuresMike McDermott on guitar, mandolin and vocals; Pam Baugham on guitar and vocals; and Amanda Roberts on hammered dulcimer and vocals. The trio discovered their commonality in sound after a rollicking-in-home-church-folk-music-night and have been playing country covers at local coffee houses for over a year. They have performed in such venues as Canal Street, Artesian, Clifton Opera House and Webster Street Market.Â

Relax at the Kanoe Cafe after a day of Christmas shopping this Saturday evening, December 19, from 6-8 p.m. when Sweet Betsy brings its talent to Tipp City.
