Library News – 6/09/09

Create your summer fun plan with all of the great things to do and see at Tipp City Public Library.
FOR ADULTS
Staying close to home doesn’t have to mean you can’t treat yourself well. Come to the next brown bag lunch program to hear Robin Hagen speak about Everyday Retreats, and how you can get away from it all without ever leaving Tipp City. Hagen will demonstrate chair massage, and speak about the benefits of massage at noon on Tuesday, June 23.
Bring your lunch, and the library will provide refreshments.

CHILDREN
Children’s events provide opportunities for self-expression and fun. On Thursday, June 25 youngsters are invited to Paint a Book Bag at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Using acrylic paints and rubber stamps, participants will decorate canvas book bags to use all summer long. All materials will be provided. This program is sponsored by Creative Promotional Solutions of Vandalia.
Registration is required. Children aged seven or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
And, the library will welcome the Ronald McDonald Fun Show gang for a wacky program filled with song, jokes, and plenty of laughs. It’s set for 11 a.m. on Friday, June 26. This show is best suited for children aged eight or younger.
