LIBRARY’S “BALLROOM DANCING WITH BILL” TO CHANGE VENUE

Due to the tremendous interest in the Milton-Union Public Library’s upcoming classes, there has been a change in location as well as session nights. Bill Coate, certified dance instructor, will now teach 4 sessions of Ballroom Dancing Classes from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on the following Tuesdays, April 5, 12, 19 and 26 in the Fellowship Hall at the Hoffman United Methodist Church, 201 S. Main St., West Milton. Call or visit the Milton-Union Public Library at 698-5515 for information on any openings in the class. Registration is REQUIRED.

Coate intends to cover Rhythm/Latin/Smooth which includes such dances as the waltz, rumba, cha-cha, swing, foxtrot and salsa/mambo and tango. He will tailor the classes to the number and preferences of the attendees.

The classes are for adults and teens, although teens under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who can be either the chaperone or a dance partner. Participants may bring a partner, however, there will be rotation of partners during the classes.

Dancers are asked to dress comfortably and appropriately for activity and bring a water bottle. Again, the instructor will customize the classes to participants’ ability levels. Also, come prepared to have a good time. This is an excellent opportunity to learn or sharpen your dance skills in time for early summer weddings and prom!

As a reminder, please call the library (NOT the church) for more information on the dancing classes.

The Milton-Union Public Library is located at 560 S. Main Street, West Milton and is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information on library programs or services, please stop by or call the library at 698-5515 or visit www.mupubliclibrary.org.
