DAYTON’S CW LOOKING FOR THEIR FIRST CW STAR
FINALISTS AND SEMI-FINALISTS HAVE BEEN CHOSEN; WINNER TO RECEIVE $20,000 CONTRACT

WBDT-TV is looking for their face of the station, Dayton’s CW Star. Dayton’s CW has hosted two open auditions and narrowed down their candidates to 9 Finalists, who will each be in the running to become Dayton’s CW Star. There are 24 Semi-Finalists that have been chosen and are competing on www.daytonscw.com via online votes for the 10th position. Voting started Monday, February 7th at 5pm and will conclude on February 20th at 11:59pm.
Once the top 10 Finalists are in place, there will be a variety of tasks from promotional events, online voting, blogging, and a make-over to help decide who will be the First Dayton’s CW Star!
“We’re looking for someone to be the face of Dayton’s CW and represent the station on-air, online and in the community,” said Shasta Scarberry, WBDT-TV Brand Manager. “We have a strong group of candidates and we are excited to see who will be our first Dayton’s CW Star!”
The CW Star will be employed part-time by WBDT-TV and be compensated with a $20,000 contract.
