The Milton-Union Public Library is getting ready for the hot weather by finalizing plans for the three Summer Reading Programs. Just a reminder that there is a program for all age groups and there are some wonderful donated prizes this year, including tickets to the Neil Armstrong Museum, tickets to the Dayton Ballet, passes to the Ohio Caverns and passes to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The programs begin on June 4 and run through August 1.

New Friends of the Library Yard Sale on Friday & Saturday, May 20 & 21

The New Friends of the Library will once again participate in the West Milton Community Wide Garage Sale by hosting a yard sale on Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21 from 9 am to 4 pm on both days. The sale will be on the library’s front lawn with a poster sale held in the multi-purpose room. The entire sale will move into the multi-purpose room if there is inclement weather.

As in the past, the Friends will be asking for a donation for purchases. Among items for purchase will be decorative objects, household items, paperback books, VHS tapes and DVD movie posters. Stop in to see what you can’t live without and support the Friends of the Library at the same time!

The Milton-Union Public Library is located at 560 S. Main Street, West Milton and is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, please stop by, call at 698-5515 or visit www.mupubliclibrary.org.
