Ernestine M. Fugate
(February 14, 1940 – January 16, 2011)
Fugate, Ernestine M. age 70 of Tipp City died Thursday January 6, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on Valentine’s Day 1940 in Des Moines, IA to Dale A. Turnipseed and Gail V. {Ford} Jones. Ernestine grew up in Enon, OH where she met and married her loving husband of 54 years, Dan who survives her. Also surviving are children; Rick and his wife Deb Fugate, Piqua, Danita Fox, and Jeff Fugate both of West Milton, grandchildren; Eric, Alex, Adam, Allison, Justin, Juli, Tyler and Dylan, her devoted sister and best friend Judy Jacobs, Springfield and her mother Gail Jones, Fairborn. Preceded in death by her father, Dale; who taught her to hunt and fish and her son in-law, Russell Fox. She leaves behind many friends, especially her Sunday school class at Asbury United Methodist Church, as well as all those she met while volunteering for several organizations and managing Daisy Valley Gifts for many years. Service 7 PM Monday, January 10, 2011 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Visitation 4 to 7 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Ernestine’s name to the American Heart Association.
