ON DISPLAY AT THE M-U PUBLIC LIBRARY: BELINDA WRIGHT’S NATIVITY SCENES

Long time patron Belinda Wright has once again graciously offered to display her assortment of nativity scenes. She began collecting in the 1970’s after amassing an extensive selection of music boxes. One music box purchase was a nativity scene and since she loved Christmas so much she thought, “why not” and has not stopped since. Many of her purchases were made in other countries as she was chaperone and host with an organization called Children’s International Summer Villages (CISV). Her trips outside of the U.S. have helped her gather many unusual and unique pieces. The Milton-Union Public Library would like to extend a grand thank you to Belinda for letting us all view these treasures.

We are also looking for those who are interested in displaying their own collections. Anyone who is interested please call library at the number listed below. We have many open months and would love the opportunity to show your craftsmanship to the community.

The library is located at 560 S. Main Street, West Milton and is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.  For more information on this or other library programs, please visit or call the library at 698-5515 or go to the website www.mupubliclibrary.org.
