Phil Nagle is glad to be home

So what does one have to say after a grueling 8,200 mile and 57 day bike trek across the United States? “I am glad to be home”

Phil returned home to a crowd that swelled to nearly two hundred well wishers and visitors some of whom were just interested in getting their picture taken with their new hometown hero and world record holder.
Noticeably tired, Phil answered question after question from the news media.. always smiling. He did share with this reporter that he was disappointing that he was not able to make the 48 day challenge that he set for himself thanks to some very inhospitable weather and headwinds.

Sponsors for Phil’s journey were One Call Now and Carlocate.com their teams were both there to wish him well and welcome him home. Christina Brownlee, Marketing Director for One Call Now had this to share, “Phil is a real hero and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a movie or a book come of his incredible feat”. Christina continued, “We (One Call Now) were glad to have been a part of this great testament to human endurance and strength”

One Call Now‘s calling software made it possible for Phil to make a single call each day and have his messages delivered to hundreds of family and friends.

UPDATE! Phil Nagle will be at Wednesday Night Dinner at the Tipp City United Methodist Church tomorrow between 5:15 & 5:30 p.m. Come on downtown and see this amazing young man before he returns to college next week. Phil rode this journey to raise donations for the Leukemia Society. – Ann Garner
