WEST MILTON – Matt Kline, municipal manager of West Milton, has met with Miami County Public Health Sanitarian Therese Tyson to review 10 properties on Hamilton, Jay, Stillwater and Miami streets in violation of zoning and code ordinances. Depending on the place, properties will require repairs, updates, clean-ups or demolition.
Standard red door hangers listing the various violations have been ordered and will be hung on violators’ doors soon. However, some properties Kline and Tyson felt could not wait for the hangers to arrive.
The first, a residence at 545 S. Miami St., has been served with notice to remove both the recreational vehicle and boat from the front yard by April 20.
