Tipp City Police Department in cooperation with Tipp Monroe Community Services is offering R.A.D. (Rape Awareness Defense) for Women. Safety and survival in today’s world requires a definite course of action. Learn the R. A. D. system – a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, preventions, risk reduction and avoidance and progresses to the basics of hands-on self-defense. These classes are taught by certified RAD instructors. The Women’s RAD begins on July 15. This class is great for girls (ages 12 & up) to take with their mothers and for young women leaving for college or beginning jobs. There is no charge for this class but registration is required.
