It is time for the Milton-Union Public Library Spring book sale. The dates are March 15 – 18 at the Milton-Union Public Library, 560 S. Main Street, West Milton.
The sale includes a very large donation of Guitar World and Guitar Player magazines, many worth more than the original cover price. The majority of our magazines can be bought for just 50¢ each.
Other items for sale are adult fiction, Christian fiction, children’s books, inspirational books, puzzles, cds, videos and specialty books and paperbacks.
Prices are very reasonable and most items can be acquired for less than $1.00 each. Most book prices are 50¢ for hardbacks and 25¢ for paperbacks and children’s books. Videos are priced at 25¢ each or 6 for $1.00.
Friend members’ night is Thursday, March 15 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Five dollar memberships for families or individuals are available before or during that evening. The public sale is March 16 – 18. Hours on Friday and Saturday are from 9 am to 5 pm. The New Friends of the Library will have a “Special Sale” from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Sunday Bag Sale hours are from noon to 3 pm. when customers can fill a paper grocery sack with any type of items for $2 per bag.
The Milton-Union Public Library would like to express gratitude to the New Friends of the Library for their continued efforts at successful book sales. They have worked very diligently on our 75th Anniversary Celebration, and have recently offered to purchase two new computers for library use. Their efforts help the library fund programming for the Summer Reading Program and other library activities.
