The Blessings of the Animals by Katrina Kittle
There has been an author recommended for some time that I haven’t read and what a better time to read than on vacation. Not to mention the author is from Dayton, which made me excited!
Katrina Kittle has a few books to her name but the one I picked up before heading on vacation was “The Blessings of the Animals”. Those of you that know me know that I am not an animal fan – so don’t chuckle that this is the book I picked. It was a lovely story about a women, Cami living in the Dayton area and who cared for animals in her veterinary practice as well as the animals she cares for at home (or brings home).
Animals for Cami are a tool to help her deal with a divorce while seeing family members around her in committed relationships that are not allowed by law to be formalized and her parents celebrating 50 years of marriage.
I highly recommend this nice read. I think the next book I’ll pick of Katrina’s is “Reasons to be Happy”. Maybe she can help me through some tough times.
