Time Warner Cable Looks to Hire Field Technicians

Kettering, OH – With plans to fill 25 field technician positions throughout the Miami Valley, Time Warner Cable will hold open interviews on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at its Kettering training facility from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.  The office is located at 1505 E. David Road.

The company is looking for prospective employees with mechanical aptitude, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license and good driving record.  The ideal candidate will also have strong math skills, be able to read blueprints, carry and climb a 75-lb. ladder, and be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Those with installation experience are encouraged to apply.

Vice president of technical operations Bill Thomison says his team is looking for people with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. “We are looking for those who have a good blend of technical know-how and social skills.  To provide superior customer care, it is vital that our technical employees have the ability to naturally interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner” he added.
