Tipp City Home Damaged In Mid-Morning Fire

TIPP CITY, Ohio — Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in a house at 19 S. First Street in downtown Tipp City Sunday morning, but not before the fire did considerable smoke damage to the home. The investigation into the cause of the fire centered around the living room of the single story dwelling.

There were a few anxious moments for firefighters when they noticed the occupants car was parked in front of her house. Firefighters searched the home, but found no one at home. About 90 minutes later the occupant arrived home. She is being aided by the Northern Miami Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross.
