Tipp City Rotary Club & THS Four-Way Speech Contest

On Thursday evening, March 6, ten Tippecanoe High School (THS) students participated in the fifth annual Tipp City Rotary Club Four-Way Speech Contest.  Students wrote, memorized, and delivered a four to six minute speech on the topic of their choice, applying the Rotary Four-Way Test to their topics: Is it the truth?  Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships?  Is it beneficial to all concerned?  The THS Staff Sponsor is Erin Hill.  Tipp City Rotarian and Past President Doug Thompson coordinated the event, and judged along with several other Rotarians.

This year’s top four winners will attend the Rotary Luncheon on Wednesday March 19 to deliver their speeches to the club.  The first place winner, senior Emma Warner, will go on to represent the Tipp City Rotary Club and THS at the District Competition on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Wright State University.
