Design a Poster Contest

The Tipp City Public Library announces the opening of its annual summer reading club, Design a Poster Contest.

The contest is open to students in grades 6 – 12, and the first place prize is $50. Second and third place prizes of $25 and $10 will also be awarded. The prize money is provided by The Friends of the Tipp City Public Library.

Entries should reflect this summer’s reading club theme of “Make Waves @ Your Library”. Most types of artistic materials may be used, but posters must be on tabloid size paper (11”x17”). They can be in color, black and white, or digitally created. The poster should not include the reading club slogan. It will be added later by the library staff.

The winning design will be used in the teen summer reading club promotional materials, bookmarks, certificates, and postcards. An entry form must accompany each poster. These forms can be found at the library, and at the library website at http://www.tippcitylibrary.org. Limit one entry per student. All entries become the property of the library, and may be used for display. The deadline to enter is Monday, May 17.
