With so many great events coming up at Tipp City Public Library, you’ll need to mark your calendar now so you and your family won’t miss anything.

MONSTROUS FUN FOR KIDS
Young students can get in the mood for Halloween with the afterschool program, “Make Monsters”. Participants will enjoy a story about monsters, craft their own monster to take home, and enjoy a monstrous snack. “Make Monsters” will be offered for grades K – one at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12. Second and third graders are invited to their version of “Make Monsters” at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14. Registration is required.

ADULT HAPPENINGS
Two adult book discussions are offered in October. The Mystery Lovers Book Discussion Group will consider Letter From Home by Carolyn Hart at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12. Desserts, refreshments, and entertaining conversation are all on the agenda. The Booklover’s Book Discussion Group will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26 to share thoughts on Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. Copies of both books are available at the front desk.

ALERT: PINOCHLE FANS
Learn and play Pinochle with your friends at the library. At 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, the library will host a half-hour session on how to play this card game that requires both luck and skill to win. The game will begin at 7 p.m. All skill levels are welcome.

PRESCRIPTION OPTIONS
Ms. Diana Benson, Representative of the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program, will help you with your questions regarding Medicare, Medicaid, and Prescription Options at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14. Get you answers one-on-one, from an expert.

LIBRARY MEETINGS
The Friends of the Tipp City Public Library will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14. Anyone interested in the organization is welcome to attend. The Tipp City Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
